Dr. Roxanne Smith White heads our Internal Medicine Service.  Dr. Smith White is an assistant professor and an attending physician in the Department of Medicine at Howard University College of Medicine and Howard University Hospital.  She is board certified in internal medicine.  She received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine and completed her residency at the Medical College of Pennsylvania.


 O.Temitope Bada Dr. O. Temitope Bada is one the doctors in our Obstetrics and Gynecology Service. Dr. Bada is an assistant professor and attending physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Howard University College of Medicine and Howard University Hospital. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. She received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine and completed a residency at New York Methodist Hospital. 
 Mercedes Quinones Dr. Mercedes Quinones leads our Rheumatology service. Dr. Quinones is an assistant professor and attending physician in the Department of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology at Howard University College of Medicine and Howard University Hospital. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Rheumatology. Dr. Quinones received her medical degree from Albany Medical College. She completed residency programs in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and a fellowship in Rheumatology at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Quinones is fluent in both English and Spanish.
 Ghulam Abbas Dr. Ghulam Abbas graduated from Allama Iqbal Medical College Lahore Pakistan. He served as a research Assistant at Mayo Clinic Rochester MN and published articles on liver diseases. He completed his Family Medicine residency from Howard University Hospital department of Community and Family Medicine Washington DC. He is a board certified physician in Family Medicine and currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Howard University Hospital. His key interest is prevention and cure of chronic medical conditions such as Hypertension, Diabetes, high cholesterol and Hepatitis.
 Feremusu N. Kamara MD MPh Dr. Feremusu Kamara M.D. M.P.H. Assistant Professor in the Department of Community and Family Medicine. Dr. Kamara received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine and completed her residencies in Family Medicine at Emory University and in Preventive Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Kamara is board certified in Family Medicine and Preventive Medicine. She is also certified to perform DOT physicals, and is interested in guiding uninsured patients to available resources
