RadiologyInfo.org

Visit RadiologyInfo.org, a website created by the American College of Radiology (ACR). RadiologyInfo.org tells you how various x-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, radiation therapy and other procedures are performed. It also addresses what you may experience and how to prepare for the exams. The website contains nearly 200 procedure, exam and disease descriptions covering diagnostic and interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy and radiation safety and is updated frequently with new information. All material on the RadiologyInfo.org website is reviewed and approved by experts in the field of radiology from the ACR and RSNA as well as other professional radiology organizations.

Interventional Radiology for Medical Students

Without a Scalpel: The Secret World of Interventional Radiology - a very inspiring documentary on Interventional Radiology. The video was produced by Isabel Newton, MD, PhD, Founder and Chairman of the Interventional Initiative, and Susan Jackson, MBA, RT(R)(CV), Founder and CEO of the Interventional Initiative. We find it to be a useful tool for communicating to medical students that there is no more impactful career than to be a radiologist!
