Department of Patient Financial Services is responsible for assisting patients with matters concerning Howard University Hospital Accounts.

Patient Financial Services Mission Statement
The mission of Howard University Hospital's Patient Financial Services Department is to effectively, efficiently and equitably bill the charges agreed upon by this institution to patients and/or third party payors and to collect remitted payments in a timely and accurate fashion.  Patients and their representative will be treated with fairness, professionalism and compassion, regardless of ability to pay.

Howard University Hospital's Patient Financial Services office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Patients or their representatives may call 202-865-3500 to speak to a financial services representative, or appear in person at the Patient Financial Services offices located at 2024 Georgia Ave. NW. (These offices are situated across the street from Howard University Hospital's front entrance.)
