8th Annual Stomp Out Sickle Cell Walk

Saturday, September 20, 2014 The mission of the walk is simple, it is to increase awareness of sickle cell disease and raise money through various fun-filled activities that also encourage healthy lifestyles. Proceeds from the SOS Walk will benefit the Howard University Center for Sickle Cell Disease and Faces of Our Children, Inc.

Howard University Cancer Center will host the Rosemary Williams Breast Cancer Brunch Sunday, October 5, 2014, 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Martin's Crosswinds, 7400 Greenway Center Drive, Greenbelt, MD 20770. The Rosemary Williams Breast Cancer Brunch is named after the late Rosemary Williams who was a tireless advocate for equal access to quality health care for underserved women.
